14 Aug THE POOL
The pool is 110mq, in the upper side near Accattoli House. The view is amazing, you can enjoy swimming or relax under the shadow looking the big Panorama. The view goes from west to east, from here spectacular sunsets are visible.
“If I want to know what the weather will be, at 7:00 AM I come here to look at the sky above Filottrano and above the sea. If it is clear and there is no haze above Porto Recanati, then the day will be wonderful and the wind will rise in the afternoon as usual.”
I have until 9:00 in the morning to check that everything has worked during the night and the swimming pool is clean and ready for guests. A look at the technical equipment, a quick check of the water values and then I take care immediately of my friend Wilson, who stayed in the water all night…
No, Wilson is not crazy, he is not even a person but simply the robot that cleans the bottom of the pool.
After checking the arrangement of the deckchairs, a final look goes to the skimmers, in the hope that “someone” has not left a piece of wood, a ball or something that could block the functioning of the filter.
Most of the time I simply find myself saving some little frog who wanted to experience the thrill of the night bath.
It’s 9 AM and for Dago and me it’s time to leave space for the guests to enjoy a few hours of relax, before going to discover some other place around here.
The wind is rising, it is already afternoon. Passing through the tree-lined avenue, someone asks me for suggestions to have a nice evening. We always end up talking pleasantly about fields, nature and animals they have met. There is always an expression common to all, including myself, which recalls that of a curious child in front of a gift pack. In the meantime, the real children have resumed bathing after a few hours of rest in the shade of trees.
It’s 7:30 PM, it’s time to close the pool and put my dear Wilson in the water. Someone asks me if he can stay and enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine. The sunset from this point is actually something to see. I recommend to not even put your feet in the water because the robot is electric and the newly inserted chlorine would make them “too clean”.
